Last summer, Kim contacted me to see if I could make some paper flower for her wedding. She wanted bouquets and boutonnieres filled with beer hops. Of course, I said yes! It was a fun challenge that I ready to accept. Here are some photos by their wedding photographer Susan K Adams. You can check out more of her work here – www.skaphotography.com or follow her on Instagram @susankadams or if you are on FaceBook @susankadamsphotography
Kim and Ryan’s beer themed wedding was a small gathering of their families and close friends on Ryan’s parent ranch house in Montana.
Kim’s wedding bouquet filled with peonies, dahlias and hops. This bouquet is 100% made out of paper, except for the floral wires stems.
I love this sweet moment of Ryan’s mother pinning his boutonniere on his lapel.
Another special moment between Kim and Ryan, and isn’t her dress so sweet and adorable on her? This wedding dress was meant for her to wear on their special day.
The sweet and beautiful couple. What a beautiful image of them on their wedding day.
I love seeing how happy the wedding couples are as they finished saying their vows and walk down the aisle to greet their family and friends as officially Mr. and Mrs.
The best man and main of honor walking down the aisle. I seriously love her dress. She wears it so beautifully, and I have to admit her bouquet compliments the dress perfectly.
The happy wedding party!
Kim and her maid of honor. They look like true best friends. I made complimentary bouquets for the both of them.
Here are Ryan and his best man. I love their suits! The perfect shades of grey and the guys wear the boutonniere very handsomely.
If you would like to learn how to these paper hops, check out my tutorial here and you can purchase variegated green crepe paper available in my Etsy shop! Or contact me, and I’ll make them for you for any occasions. I would love it if a beer lover hired me to make a large beer hop to display at their brewery or home. That would be a dream come true!
